One of my favorite parts about Project Run & Play is watching it grow as designers compete, and their patterns are added to the shop. Did you know that all the patterns in the PR&P shop were used in a season of PR&P? You can make your own designs, if you were inspired by a certain designer!
To celebrate all these new releases in the shop, I chose to sew up the Rita (nightgown) dress. Yes, that’s in parentheses, because, even though it was designed as a nightgown, it’s the perfect day/play dress!

I love the amount of ease in it. In a world of perfectly fitting patterns that are conformed to every individual nuance of our bodies, it’s sometimes nice to sew up something to easy and breezy. And she’s wearing it as I type, tonight. After it’s been worn and washed, and worn again.

There are a bunch of new patterns being added to the shop right now. And better yet, there’s a sale! What would a pattern release be without a sale? Here are the details:

I love sewing t-shirts for my kids. This week I’ve sewn my daughter a t-shirt and a tank. Good job on that sweet dress for your daughter!

Love the dress! For several summers now, I’ve enjoyed making mix and match wardrobes for my boys – just simple shorts and tees. So satisfying!
