The Sloane pattern was released a couple years ago from Love Notions, and I’ve owned it for over a year, probably. Have I ever sewn it? Of course not. Ha! #patternhoardingisanart But I was so excited that it was getting an update, with extended sizing, and more options, AND, she created the girls version too! The Sloane pattern has a slightly dropped shoulder, for a perfect sweatshirt look, and two body views, I made View A on both of mine, which has a slightly curved hem. View B is banded at the bottom. The yoke is optional, and can be used with the neckband, or hood. There are also elbow patches, a hood, and a kangaroo pocket that can be used on View B. Tami has been adding a full bust adjustment piece to all of her patterns that she can, and so since she was updating the Sloane, she added a FBA piece to it too! This is SO helpful if you need this. I used to have to make so many adjustments, and while they’re not hard, it was not something I loved doing, since I was adding length too. I just want to cut and sew š

The girls Sloane has the same options, and my daughter is loving the casual, comfy style! Her shirt was an early version of the pattern, and some ease was removed, and length taken off for the final version.

My blue one is from a mystery knit form the Wal-Mart $1 section. I love it having large amounts of cheap knit to cut into for trial runs, but I’ve ended up keeping everything in my closet that I’ve made from this fabric! The stretch lace on the yoke was a remnant from my local knit shop.
The grey version is all sweater knit. The grey is from a custom shop that is no longer in business (also an #expertfabrichoarder) and the cheetah is sweater knit from Girl Charlee.
My daughter’s is in a baby french terry from LDG Textiles, and the stretch lace on hers was from So Sew English.

The patterns are on sale for the (re)release, and you can get them bundled if you want both for an even bigger discount. ā¤
