Mama Lauren

I made this way back in February, before Easter, as part of #sewallthepintucks month. Lol! This is the coordinating pattern to the Charlie Button Up I posted recently. This was also, really, my first time working with rayon, and it was a *@$*#$(*&^#$ to do pintucks on. Shifty, drapey, can’t touch it with a warm iron longer than .38 seconds or it will burn, etc…but I love this yellow, and the end result is better than I thought it would be while I was sewing it up 🙂 Plus, now that I’ve done one garment in this fabric, my next will be perfect 😆

I love this style, I love that it’s woven, I love that I can match my baby boys 😍😍😍 It’s a winning pattern for me! This is from Made for Mermaids, it has top, tunic, or dress options, five sleeve options, including sleeveless, optional keyhole, and optional belt ties.

You can pick up this pattern here, and the coordinating children’s patterns as well: Lauren, Harper, and Charlie. You’ll see Harper and Charlie in these pictures with my Mama Lauren 🙂

Fabric sources:

Yellow: 100% rayon from Hancock flat fold apparel table

Harper: All vintage (sheet and tablecloth)

Charlie: Upcycle from men’s button up shirt
