Lillian

DSC_1402

This is the new Lillian pattern just released from Made for Mermaids!! It’s the cousin to the highly popular Lily pattern from last year, and there’s a matching Mama version too, that coordinates with both!

I made #alltherompers this time around, but Lillian is also a dress with regular and maxi length options, or you can make the romper pants length. Optional elastic at the bottom of the shorts or pants adds even more looks! I made two shorts versions, one with elastic and one without.

The optional front insert is a good chance to use scraps, or lace. I made this white version all out of fabrics from that box my friend passed along to me. I think it makes it extra special knowing that someone’s fabric stash is loved and getting a new life! Even the bias tape was cut from fabric from that box.

EVEN MORE AMAZING…is that you can use woven or knit! SO MANY OPTIONS!!  Check out our photos, and pick up the pattern while it’s on sale. Girls Lillian, Mama Lily, Lily, Bundled, and all the other romper patterns are 20% off with code ROMPERMONTH for the #sewalltherompers event with Made for Mermaids this month!

Black/white patterned fabric is rayon from Hancock flat fold apparel table

Woven bias was used on all, though you can use knit binding as well.
