Charlie Button Up


Oh sweet boy. This was way back in February before he had his first haircut. The pattern here is Made for Mermaidsfirst boy pattern, and it’s so sweet. The Charlie Button Up is a classic boys dress dress shirt, with pintucks. (Blog post here that shows how to remove them if you wish!) You can do short, hemmed sleeves, or long sleeves with cuff and placket. I’m just in love with this look!

I used an old button up from my husband’s closet to make this one. And the three year old promptly requested one for him as soon as he saw this!

This is part of a kind of matching collection of patterns, so you can outfit the whole family in coordinating looks, if that’s your thing. IT’S MY THING!!! I used to match my outfit with my girls way back when they still let me pick out their clothes. Which was like when they were 2 and 0. 😑
